Update on the Forecast
Financial Position of the Council for 2025/26

Content

(1)          
That the Cabinet noted the financial forecast (as at 30th June 2025) for 2025/26 for:

 

·        
The General Fund Revenue (Section 2 and Appendix A) and the General
Fund Capital Accounts (Section 5 and Appendix B)
 

·        
The Housing Revenue Account: Revenue (Section 4 and Appendix C) and
HRA Capital Account (Section 6 and
Appendix D)
 

(2)          
That the Cabinet noted the position on Reserves presented in
Section 3.
 

(3)          
That the Cabinet agreed performance indicators in relation to
compliance with the prudential code, were better placed to be
reported as part of the Treasury Update to Cabinet and not the
quarterly monitoring report.
