Purpose

With
the increasing use of doorbell video cameras and other forms of
CCTV, it is important that officers and residents understand the
implications and responsibilities associated with domestic CCTV.
This report and policy restate requirements around domestic CCTV in
HRA properties.

Content

(1)       
That the Cabinet agreed the Housing Domestic CCTV Policy at
Appendix 1 to this report.
 

(2)       
That the Cabinet delegated authority to the Director for Housing
and Property to agree minor changes to Housing Domestic CCTV Policy
in consultation with the Portfolio Holder with responsibility for
Housing.
