Purpose

the Council changing its current contractual arrangements into an
Agency Agreement with Places Leisure for the operation of EFDC
leisure facilities.

(1)       
That the Cabinet agreed in principle to transition the
Council’s existing leisure contract with Places Leisure to a
Leisure Management Agency Model, subject to varying the contract in
accordance with legal advice.
 

(2)       
That the Cabinet delegated authority to the Service Director of
Contracts, Partnerships and Procurement, in consultation with the
Portfolio Holder for Contracts Delivery and the S151 Officer, for
the final decision on entering the Leisure Management Agency
Model.
