About
The Financial Strategy Advisory Group advises the Strategy and Resources Committee on a range of financial matters for Epsom and Ewell Borough Council. It reviews the budget, policy framework, and staff pay, as well as new government policies affecting local government finance. The group also scrutinises procurement strategy, performance against key indicators, and treasury management.
Additionally, it responds to urgent government consultations and reviews annual capital proposals, recommending a five-year capital programme. The group also advises the Audit & Scrutiny Committee on treasury management performance. Public questions and statements are not permitted at its meetings.
