About

The Health Liaison Panel is an advisory body that provides recommendations to the Community & Wellbeing Committee on health-related matters. It works with NHS bodies, Social Services, and the voluntary sector to prepare, promote, and monitor the Council's Health Strategy. The panel also liaises with NHS bodies and other agencies to ensure effective resource use and the delivery of high-quality health and social services for the community. It collaborates with councillors and officers from neighbouring councils to promote local residents' interests in health service decisions, develop a shared vision for NHS services, and coordinate input into NHS decision-making processes.
