About

The Licensing (Hearings) Sub-Committee determines applications related to licences and certificates where objections or representations have been made, or where specific conditions apply. This includes decisions on personal licences, premises licences, and club premises certificates. The sub-committee also handles variations, transfers, provisional statements, and reviews of these licences and certificates. Public questions and statements are not permitted at its meetings. Membership consists of three councillors trained in licensing matters.
