Planning Committee

The Epsom and Ewell Planning Committee is responsible for determining planning applications and related matters under Town and Country Planning legislation. It handles applications for major developments, departures from the development plan, applications involving council members or employees, and development promoted by the council itself. The committee also reviews enforcement actions, planning appeals, and planning performance.

Members of the public can register to speak for or against specific planning applications at committee meetings, with a time limit of three minutes per speaker. The committee's decisions directly affect development within the borough.
