Shareholder Sub-Committee

The Shareholder Sub-Committee is responsible for overseeing companies wholly owned by Epsom and Ewell Borough Council. It has the power to appoint and remove company directors and approve annual business plans, ensuring they align with the council's corporate objectives.

The committee also evaluates the financial performance of these companies, considers recommendations to cease trading, monitors legislative compliance, and approves shareholder agreements. Members of the public who live, work, attend an educational establishment, or own/lease land in the Borough can ask questions or make statements on matters within the sub-committee's remit.
