Strata Joint Executive Committee

The Strata Joint Executive Committee (JEC) oversees the operational and strategic direction of Strata, a company jointly owned and controlled by East Devon, Exeter, and Teignbridge District Councils, which shares ICT services.

The JEC makes operational decisions based on agreed business and service plans, monitors budgets, and is accountable to the three councils. While it has delegated powers for Strata's operation, certain key decisions, such as admitting new shareholders, winding up the company, changing its name, issuing shares, or significantly extending its services, are reserved for the individual councils' Executives or Full Council.
