Purpose

To update the Executive on the outcome of the Fareham Housing Affordable Housing Strategy consultation and seek approval for adoption.

At its meeting on 2 February 2026,the Executive approved the draft Fareham Housing Affordable Housing Strategy for 6 weeks public consultation.  The report summarises the outcome of the consultation and the comments received.

Decision

RESOLVED that the Executive:

(a)  approves the Fareham Housing Affordable Housing Strategy for Adoption; and

(b)  agrees to delegate authority to make minor amendments to the Fareham Housing Affordable Housing Strategy as well as the accompanying documents to the Director of Housing and Health, following consultation with the Executive Member for Housing.
