About
The Council is made up of 43 elected councillors who represent the residents of Fenland. Councillors are responsible for setting the council's overall policies, agreeing the annual budget, and determining the Council Tax level. They also appoint the Leader, the Cabinet, and other committees. All councillors must adhere to a Code of Conduct to maintain high standards in their duties. Council meetings are generally open to the public and are where these key decisions are made.
