About
The Employment Committee is responsible for making decisions on a range of staffing and employment matters for Fenland District Council. It reviews reports from officers on strategic employment policies and considers proposals for staffing restructures and changes to the council's establishment. The committee also works with employee representatives to ensure good communication and consultation on general personnel issues. Additionally, it has discretion over aspects of the local government pension scheme, including awarding discretionary payments to employees.
