Decision

To approve the procurement of 4 separate development workshops aimed at upskilling and supporting the workforce in advance of LGR.

Reasons for the decision

The Council has been looking at development interventions to prepare the workforce for LGR in terms of:

Managing Change

Coping with Change, and 

Building Resilience and Adaptability

The Council have previously piloted Managing Change and Coping with Change workshops, which were very positively received, and intends to offer these out to a wider group.

Alternative providers have been contacted, and additional quotes have been obtained, but the decision is to use Emailogic, as the Council have secured all additional developmental work on all workshops at nil cost.

The collective cost for suite of workshops will be £5,400 (plus VAT), which will be fully funded from the Council’s Corporate Training Budget (This has been considered and approved by CMT).
