Purpose

To provide an update on the impacts of welfare
reforms and the work that is ongoing to mitigate them.

Content

(a)       That the Committee endorse
the ongoing work to manage the impact that welfare reform and the
cost-of-living crisis had, and would continue to have, on some of
the most vulnerable residents;
 

(b)       That the Committee endorse
the measures being implemented via Welsh Government and the Council
to mitigate the impact; and
 

(c)       That the Chair, on behalf
of the Committee, write to the Minister for Works and Pensions to
raise the concerns outlined by Members around the bedroom subsidy
and financial impact on tenants and the Council.
