Purpose

To present the
first North Wales Regional Armed Forces Covenant Partnership Annual
Report 2024 and seek support for the re-signing of the Armed Forces
Covenant.

Content

That the Committee:
 

(a)     Notes the content
of the Regional Armed Forces Covenant Annual Report 2024 and
recognises the progress that has been made during the period;

 

(b)     Notes that the
Council has recently been re-accredited with the Ministry of
Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) Gold Award and supports
the Council’s Armed Forces Champion, Councillor David Evans,
in being presented with this award at full Council; and

 

(c)     Supports the
re-signing of the Armed Forces Covenant by Flintshire County
Council at the meeting on 2nd July 2025.
