Purpose

To provide an update on the Early Years
Pathfinder. It details progress made to develop a system-wide
approach for improving outcomes for children and longer-term
implications, the activity and its impact, quality assurance
arrangements and next steps.

Content

(a)     
That the Committee noted the contents of the report and continued
to demonstrate commitment to early years integration and
transformation, to ensure all children had the best start in
life;

 

(b)     
That members acknowledged the work completed during the Programme,
and the commitment of staff to meet the aims of the Programme;
and

 

(c)      
That members had reviewed the report and feedback and congratulated
the officers on its content.
