Purpose

To provide members with information in
relation to the Joint Adults and Children’s Safeguarding
provision within the county boundaries and to provide Members with
and update on the recent Internal Audit regarding Deprivation of
Liberty processes with the service.

Content

(a)     
That Members accepted the report as relevant information in
relation to Flintshire Safeguarding for the period 1st
April 2024 to 31 March 2025 and additional information
provided;

 

(b)     
That Members took due regard to the variety of activities across
the Safeguarding Unit and the continuing development and
improvement in service provision;

 

(c)      
That Member were satisfied that the Safeguarding Process for Adults
and Children in Flintshire was robust; and

 

(d)     
That Members were satisfied that the actions taken following the
recent internal audit of the DoLS process had addressed the audit
findings.
