Purpose

To seek approval to write off a social
services debt in excess of £25,000, in line with section 5.2
of the Councils Financial Procedure Rules, and where successful
recovery of the debt is no longer possible.

Content

That the write off of the
Social Services debt amounting to £49,708.34 in respect of
the unpaid care costs for an individual which is no longer
recoverable be approved.
