That Council resolves
to:
 
(a)
      Reinstate the
2025 budget for public convenience, pending completion of a full
public consultation, to include all ‘protected
characteristic’ groups on the provision and/or delivery model
for services relating to public toilets in Mold, Holywell and
Talacre and a comprehensive report to the Environment & Economy
Overview & Scrutiny Committee;
 

(b)       An
engagement plan to encourage organisations to participate in the
provision of public conveniences by displaying the
‘Toiled/Toilet’ sticker, as promoted by Welsh
Government, with acknowledgement of any potential for financial
benefit to businesses through displaying that sticker;
 

(c)       
Ensure that no public convenience is closed or restricted before
Cabinet has considered and voted on the Environment & Economy
Overview & Scrutiny report; and
 

(d)      
Consider the delivery model of public convenience on how it relates
to Townscape, regeneration of towns and opportunities through
tourism whilst reviewing all grants that might be available both
now and in the future.
