Purpose
To report on a workforce programme to develop
and embed an effective social care practice model in children and
family services.
Content
(a) That the Committee
supports Collaborative Communication training as a core requirement
for all staff in Children’s Services, to equip practitioners
to build empowering, strengths-focused conversations with children
and families; and
(b) That the Committee
recognises the vital role of management in championing and
modelling this approach, actively reinforcing a culture of
collaboration and consistency across all Teams to embed
sustainable, outcomes-focused practice.
