Purpose

To seek approval to re-purpose the disused Croes Atti school building as an alternative education facility for children with additional learning needs.

Decision

(a)      That the commencement of actions noted in Phase 1 of the Strategic Programme be approved and the allocation of associated revenue and capital budgets be supported;

(b)      That entering into a construction contract for the proposed refurbishment project at the previous Ysgol Croes Atti, Y Fflint shite be approved;

(c)      That entering into a construction contract for the proposed learner support hub project at Ysgol Treffynnon be approved; and

(d)      That it be noted that officers will continue to develop strategic solutions for increasing specialist school capacity as part of a further phase of investment within the wider programme.
