Purpose
To review car parking charges for public car parks.
Decision
RESOLVED:
(a) That the proposal and rationale for revising the car parking pay and display charges at specified car parks for 2026-2027 be approved, noting the requirements for traffic regulation orders (TROs) and potential additional revenue costs for implementation (signage, pay and display machine updates);
(b) That the proposed charges for 2026-2027 be supported, along with the use of a digital parking permit system, in addition to current methods of subscribing for the service;
(c) That the Environment and Economy Overview and Scrutiny Committee proposal to introduce an additional intermediate tariff for the Theatr Clwyd/Multistorey and Tiered Car Park at County Hall to mirror the charge for four hours at Talacre be supported; and
(d) That a review of all Council owned station car parks with a view to them being brought into the proposals.
