Purpose

To consider the management response to findings of the Audit Wales review of commissioning.

Decision

(a)    That the Management Response Plan to the Audit Wales review of the Council’s commissioning activity and the draft commissioning strategy be accepted as satisfactorily addressing the recommendations;

(b)    That comments be made to Cabinet on how best to address the findings in the Audit Wales’ review (none were given); and

(c)    That the Committee be assured by the proposed commissioning review of the Joint Procurement Service in conjunction with Denbighshire County Council, which would further support the recommendations by Audit Wales.
