Purpose

To approve the management response to findings of the Audit Wales review of commissioning.

Decision

(a)      That it be confirmed that the Management Response Action Plan to the Audit Wales review of the Council’s commissioning activity satisfactorily addresses the recommendations;

(b)      That it be confirmed that the commissioning strategy will address the areas for improvement found during the review; and

(c)      That Members be assured by the proposed commissioning review of the Joint Procurement Service in conjunction with Denbighshire County Council, which will further support the recommendations by Audit Wales.
