Purpose

To report on the Council’s performance in relation to social value for the financial year 2025/26 and to present proposed changes to the social value policy and strategy, in line with legislative changes and local development.

Decision

(a)    That the Committee recognises the positive social value performance achieved during the 2025/26 financial year; and

(b)    That the Committee notes the proposal to postpone any change to the Social Value Policy to align with wider work to review commissioning and procurement as a result of the relatively new procurement legislation that has come into force.
