Purpose

To consider requests from Northop Hall Community Council to adopt a Welsh name for their village.

Decision

(a)      That Cabinet considers the request from the Community Council and approves the adoption of Pentre-moch as the Welsh place name for Northop Hall; and

(b)      Cabinet supports asking the Welsh Language Commissioner to include Pentre-moch in the standardised list of Welsh place names.
