Purpose

To set out in detail the forecast cost pressures for 2027/28 and enable members to have a better understanding of the latest financial position.

Decision

That the comments on the Medium Term Financial Strategy and Budget 2027/28 report be noted by Cabinet when it considers the report:

(i)     That the total cost pressure figure in the report is now shown in the recommendation.

(ii)    That the Committee welcomes the commitment by the Corporate Finance Manager to circulate an adjusted version of the cost pressure table by the end of July if required.
