Purpose

To advise Members on the outcome of the statutory public consultation following the formal advertisement of proposals for a Traffic Regulation Order (TRO) on Well Street in Buckley to restrict vehicular traffic and introduce a modal filter.

Decision

(a)      That the formal objections and comments received during the statutory `         consultation be noted;

(b)      That Cabinet consider the proposed Traffic Regulation Order for Well Street in

Buckley and decide whether or not to proceed with the proposed Order; and

(c)      That Cabinet wishes to introduce a third recommendation, in that we trial a combination of the alternative traffic management measures detailed in Appendix 2, including a "No Right-Hand Turn" when exiting the new housing development plus advisory directional signage to encourage other preferred routes, noting that this would be subject to a separate legal TRO process.
