Purpose

This regular monthly report provides the latest revenue budget monitoring position for 2025/26 for the Council Fund and Housing Revenue Account. The position is based on actual income and expenditure as at Month 4, and projects forward to year-end.

Decision

(a)      That the report and the estimated financial impact on the 2026/27 budget be noted;

(b)      That the measures being put in place to improve the financial position by the end of the financial year be noted; and

(c)      That the use of unearmarked reserves to meet the costs of two temporary posts within the Connects Centre be approved.
