Purpose

To provide oversight of the action taken in response to the recommendations set in the Ombudsman’s Special Report issued under section 28 of the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2019 and agree a Committee update report on progress to the Public Ombudsman.

Decision

That the Committee notes the progress made in implementing the recommendations made by the Public Services Ombudsman and plans for implementing the final outstanding recommendation through the implementation of the Mosaic IT system in 2027.
