About
The Folkestone & Hythe District and Parish Councils' Joint Committee serves as a collaborative forum for the district council and local town/parish councils. Its purpose is to discuss and explore ways of working together for the benefit of citizens, and to facilitate consultation on proposals. The committee allows town/parish councils to share their own proposals and receive comments, and acts as a platform for exchanging good practice. While it enables questions about the impact of decisions, it is not a forum for scrutinising the reasons behind those decisions or for personal attacks.
