Purpose
The current Dog Control Public Space Protection Order expires at the end of July 2025. A new draft order has been prepared, largely a continuation of the current restrictions. This report recommends that the new draft order is published for public consultation for a period of six weeks. During the period of consultation, the new draft order will be considered by the Overview & Scrutiny Committee. At the end of the consultation period, the responses will be reviewed before a final draft order is presented to Cabinet for approval.
