Purpose

This report sets out the final
draft of the Order to Cabinet for sign off after the 6 week
consultation Period.  The new Order will
supersede the existing Order due to expire in June 2025. The Order
includes requirements and restrictions to tackle Antisocial
Behaviour across the district, under Antisocial Behaviour Crime and
Police Act 2014.

1)       To receive and note report

2)       To approve the new
‘Folkestone & Hythe District Council Anti-Social
Behaviour Public Spaces Protection Order 2025’ for a period
of three years.
 
 

Reasons for
decision:
 
Cabinet is asked to agree to the
recommendations set out below:
a) The ASB PSPO supports the council’s
objectives to tackle anti-social behaviour in public spaces.
b) The responses received from the public
consultation exercise were in favour of the continuation of the ASB
PSPO and the current measures
