Purpose

This report presents the
findings of the recent informal parking consultation regarding
proposals to extend the CPZ operational hours in Station Road and
adjacent roads as shown in appendix 1. The recommendations are
based on the responses received.

DECISION:
1.         
To receive and note Report C/25/74.
2.         
That the proposed changes to the CPZ operational hours are not
progressed
3.         
That officers continue to monitor parking in the area and report
any new developments to the Cabinet Member for Transport
 

Reasons for
decision:
 
The Cabinet Member for Transport, Regulatory
Services and Building Control is asked to agree the recommendations
because the responses received indicate that the majority of
respondents are not in favour of extending the CPZ operational
hours.
