Purpose

To give approval for Newstead Community Events
to hold their Newstead Village Birthday Party event at Newstead
Recreation Ground on 9th May 2026 between 10am and 6pm.

Decision

That Newstead Community Events be permitted to
go ahead with their Newstead Village Birthday Party community event
as outlined on the above date and times. Estimated attendance 100
over the course of the event.
This decision is dependent on the organisers providing to the
Council a copy of their Public Liability Insurance, an event risk
assessment and the issue of a user licence agreement indemnifying
Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident for any activities
held on the recreation ground and to ensure the land is reinstated
should any damage occur whilst accessing and exiting the
site.
