Purpose

To give permission for the Friends of Valley Road to hold a Community summer fair on Valley Road recreation Ground on 25th July between 11am and 2pm. Set up from 9am take down by 4pm.

Decision

That the Friends of Valley Road be permitted to hold their Community summer fair on Valley Road Recreation Ground on the above date and time. Estimated attendance: 400 throughout the day.
This decision is dependent on correct insurance and the issuing of a user licence agreement indemnifying Gedling Borough Council in the event of accident or damages for any activities held on the land. A temporary Events Notice (if required), supplying to the Council the health and safety documents required from the supplier of the Bouncy Castle and food hygiene safety checks.

Reasons for the decision

To encourage use of the Council’s Parks and Open Spaces.
