Alternative options considered

An alternative would be to not agree a new lease to the proposed tenant. However, this would mean that terms of occupation continue to be via an expired agreement. Additionally, any potential void risks marketing costs and lost income. There is a strong risk that any vacancy means a future tenant is not as secure a letting.
