Purpose

The report details a new set of Fees and
Charges for the Pet Cremation Service and seeks approval for their
introduction from 1 April 2024.

Decision

a)To approve the revised Fees and Charges for
2024/25 as detailed in Appendix 1.
b)To approve the price revisions to be introduced from 1 April
2024.

Reasons for the decision

To contribute to the delivery of a balanced
budget both in 2024/25 and in the medium term and satisfy statutory
requirements.

Alternative options considered

Prices could change by a different percentage;
however this would result in failure to meet the income target and
is not in line with the proposals contained in the MTFP.
