1)Approval is given for the fees and charges for Leisure Centres (2024/25) as detailed in Appendix B to be introduced from 1st April 2024

Reasons for the decision

To contribute to the delivery of a balanced budget both in 2024/25 and in the medium term and satisfy statutory requirements

Alternative options considered

An alternative percentage increase could be applied; this however may not be effective in producing the required financial improvements for the proposed Medium Term Financial Plan or would increase the leisure prices beyond what is deemed an acceptable increase
