Purpose

To allow Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Connect Team to offer a free, friendly, and solution focussed service, helping people to maintain their independence. The service is aimed at people aged 18 years and over, with an emphasis on older people and people with learning disabilities and neuro-diverse conditions.

Decision

To approve the licence to Arnold to Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Connect Team.

Reasons for the decision

To enable Arnold to Age UK Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Connect Team to meet with members of the public by using the Interview Room at the Civic Centre.

Alternative options considered

An alternative would be not to grant a licence however this could mean that local residents would have to travel further to access this service. Granting the licence is therefore a preferred option.
