Decision

It is recommended that the Portfolio Holder
approves the Gedling Borough Housing Delivery Action Plan 2023 for
publication.

Reasons for the decision

In order to comply with the requirements of
national planning policy and guidance.

Alternative options considered

Government requires that Gedling Borough
Council prepares and publishes a Housing Delivery Action Plan by
19th June 2024. There is therefore no alternative option available
other than to prepare the Housing Delivery Action Plan. The
Portfolio Holder could consider alternative actions within the plan
but these actions are those recommended by officers based on best
practice, evidence and previous experience.
