Purpose

To agree to adopt an amended Homeseeker Plus Policy that sets out how allocations to social housing will be made across Gloucester.

Decision

RESOLVED that:

(1)              the draft Homeseeker Plus Policy set out in Appendix 1 of the report is approved;

(2)              authority is delegated to the Corporate Director and Housing Innovation Manager in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing to make minor amendments to the policy;

(3)              authority is delegated to the Corporate Director and Housing Innovation Manager in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Housing to agree a commencement date for the amended policy once all local authorities in the HomeseekerPlus partnership have agreed to adopt the amended policy.
