Planning Committee

The Planning Committee is responsible for carrying out the Council's duties as the local planning authority for Gravesham. It makes decisions on planning applications and related matters, excluding policy development. The committee's remit covers most planning functions, but specific areas like the Local Borough Plan, development briefs, and supplementary planning guidance are reserved for the Cabinet or Full Council. Some functions are also delegated to council officers.
