Decision

An annual programme of events
be approved, which would result in a rationalisation of events
delivered by the Council and greater use of Enterprise Zone funding
to support delivery of events, thereby resulting in savings to
existing budgets and overall reduction in cost to the
Council.
 
Sponsorship, external funding
and the use of community grants to be explored where possible and
appropriate, to support delivery of events falling outside of the
approved list.
