Purpose
POL ED online teaching resource has been approved for delivery 2026/27 (GMCA 1511.1) Currently there is a 70% sign up rate across GM educational establishments of approx. 1800 schools and colleges. The Directorate has agreed £10,000 (DMIF) to engage an established partner with educational reach and admin capacity to ensure every establishment has been made aware of POL ED and provided with information. Additionally, to also increase use amongst those schools signed up. StreetDoctors have the GM footprint and existing education relationships to conduct this work, and have agreed a resource to conduct this work over a 12 month period. Expected outcome - 95% sign up across GM.
