Following screening exercises carried out in
accordance with the Environmental Assessment of Plans and
Programmes Regulations 2004 and The Conservation of Habitats and
Species Regulations 2017, and consultation with three statutory
bodies, the Council as competent authority determines that the Ash
Neighbourhood Plan (as set out in the scoping document provided by
the qualifying body) will require a Habitat Regulations appropriate
assessment, and a Strategic Environmental Assessment environmental
report.
