Purpose

To consider and approve the: Final annual
accounts;
Performance reporting as against Business Plan; and
Annual Business Plan for following year

Content

Decision:

1.        Noted the
draft accounts for the Company’s financial year ending 30
March 2024 which are due to be filed by 30 March 2025 (a copy of
which is attached as Appendix 1) and show that there has been no
substantial change since the previous financial year);
and

2.        Noted the
progress made following the report on the Company in November
2024.
Reason(s):
1.                
To enable
the Council to fulfil its duties in respect of the shareholder
function competently, robustly and transparently;
2.                
To enable
the Council to fulfil its duties in respect of best value and
continuous improvement in respect of its interests in GBCH, and to
keep under review the objectives, strategies and plans, and
performance of each company; and

3.        To fulfil the
Council’s corporate governance duties in respect of
GBCH.

granted:
Councillor Tom Hunt was a non-executive director
of Guildford Borough Council Holdings.
