The tenant of the property has use of a patio
within the communal grounds of the flats, which was installed to
provide access to and from the property for disability purposes. It
was agreed that the this area of land would not be included within
the sale of the property being purchased under the Right to Buy. To
enable the tenant to continue using the patio following the
purchase of the flat it was agreed to grant a licence. The licence
can be brought to an end by either party on notice, or if the flat
is sold. An annual fee will be payable for the use of the
patio.
