Decision:
To
approve the draft Housing Tenant and Leaseholder Engagement
Strategy set out at appendix 1.
Reason(s):

1.      
The Tenant
and Leaseholder Engagement Strategy sets out our short-term
objectives and is a foundation for long term          
improvements for ensuring that council housing residents are
engaged, involved and influence service delivery, so we enhance
services and outcomes for both residents and the
council.

2.      
To meet
the recommendations of the SOLACE Report and contribute to the
Housing Improvement Plan outcomes.

3.      
To comply
with the Regulator of Social Housing’s Consumer Standards.

defer the strategy for further review and development.
