The Council has received a request to grant a wayleave for the
installation of a joint box and associated fixtures and fittings to
supply telecommunications to Melbury House, 52 Chantry View Road,
GU1 3XU on land part of the Chantries, in line with the following
terms and conditions:
The wayleave will be granted to British Telecommunications plc
pursuant to Schedule 3A of the Communications Act 2003, otherwise
known as the Electronic Communications Code ('the Code').
The Grantees have agreed to pay £409.50 as a one-off payment
for the wayleave, plus our costs, which in accordance with the
Council’s General Disposal Consent powers, provides the
‘best consideration reasonably obtainable’.
The Grantees will be required to obtain our approval for
o installing their apparatus on, under, or over the Council’s
property;
o inspecting their apparatus;
o repairing or substituting their apparatus;
o removing their apparatus;
o upgrading their apparatus;
o sharing their apparatus;
o adding further cables in existing duct.
